1. What is a Digital Membership Card?

A Digital Membership Card is a digital version of your Priority Pass membership card, which you can use to access travel experiences on the programme.

2. What’s the difference between the physical card and the Digital Membership Card?

There is no difference in the benefits you receive between the two card options, and you can use either to access all 1,500+ lounges and travel experiences that are part of the Priority Pass programme.

3. Where do I find my Digital Membership Card?

Download the Priority Pass app available for Android and iOS to access your Digital Membership Card. The app may prompt you to input your physical card details in order to generate your Digital Membership Card.

4. How do I get the Digital Membership Card?

Some memberships automatically have your Digital Membership Card available when you login to the app.

If the Priority Pass app does not automatically show your Digital Membership Card, you may need to activate it.
To activate your DMC, you will first need to activate your online account through the Priority Pass app. Once activated, log in to the Priority Pass app and follow the simple instructions provided within the ‘card’ tab. You’ll need your physical membership card on hand to complete the process. Once complete, your Digital Membership Card will be immediately available.

Digital Membership Card is not yet available on all memberships.

5. Do I have to use the Digital Membership Card?

To make the most of your Priority Pass membership we suggest that you use the Priority Pass app and your Digital Membership Card when travelling. You may continue to use your physical membership card, should you prefer. Either card will be accepted by the airport lounges and travel experiences on the Priority Pass programme.

6. Why am I being prompted to activate / login in?

You must activate your online account and then be logged in to your Priority Pass online account in order to activate and use your Digital Membership Card. You’ll then be able to use your smart device to scan your physical card into the Priority Pass app and create your Digital Membership Card within it.

7. What happens if my physical card expires?

Your Digital Membership Card will also expire as they have the same expiry date. When you receive your new physical membership card from your Card Issuer you will need to retake the simple steps to activate your Digital Membership Card within the Priority Pass app.

8. Does the Digital Membership Card expire?

Yes. Both your physical card and Digital Membership Card have the same expiry date. When you receive your new physical membership card from your Card Issuer you will need to retake the simple steps to activate your new Digital Membership Card within the Priority Pass app.

9. What do I do if my mobile device / smartphone has run out of battery?

You will need to use your physical card to access your chosen airport lounge or travel experience.

10. Can I use the Digital Membership Card to access all the airport lounges and travel experiences on the programme?

Yes, your Digital Membership Card can be used at all 1,500+ locations on the programme.

11. I lost my physical membership card. Do I have to order a new one?

A lost or stolen physical card must be reported to your Card Issuer. Once you receive your new membership card, you will need to activate a new Digital Membership Card in the Priority Pass app, as each Digital Membership Card is linked to a specific physical card.

12. My Digital Membership Card is not working. What do I do?

Firstly, check if your card has expired. If you are at an airport lounge or travel experience location the staff member will be able to advise on whether the brightness of your smart device’s screen needs to be adjusted to allow the card reader to recognize your card. If this does not work, please contact your Card Issuer for further support with your membership.

13. I didn’t receive my new physical membership card when my previous card expired, how do I get a new one?

Physical cards are delivered to you by your Card Issuer. Any questions on the delivery should be directed to your Card Issuer.

14. Will I be able to see my visit history if I activate my Digital Membership Card?

Due to the agreement between your Card Issuer and Priority Pass it is not possible for you to see your visit history within your online account at this time. Any questions relating to your visits should be directed to your Card Issuer.

15. The Priority Pass app is not scanning /activating my physical card. Is there any other way that I can provide this information?

It may be that you simply need to manually input some detail for your physical card to complete the activation process. If this option does not become available, please contact your Card Issuer direct as it may mean that you do not have access to the Digital Membership Card on the programme you have.

16. I have more than one Priority Pass membership and would like to activate the Digital Membership Card for all of them. Is this possible?

Please be aware that you will need to create a separate online account for each membership that you have. Please also note that at this time not all Priority Pass memberships have access to the Digital Membership Card. Your Card Issuer will confirm this information when issuing your physical Priority Pass membership card. Alternatively, you can follow the set-up steps as detailed when activating your Priority Pass online account through the app.

17. I already have an online account for my Priority Pass membership. Do I need to activate a new account to access the Digital Membership Card?

If you have an existing online account, all you need to do is download the Priority Pass app available for Android and iOS, and then log in. You can the follow the set-up steps as detailed to activate your Digital Membership Card.
