Charles de Gaulle Airport, also known as Roissy Airport, is France’s largest international airport. Named after the leader of the Free French Forces and founder of the French Fifth Republic, as well as President of France from 1959 to 1969, the airport is located 25 kilometers northeast of Paris. Paris Charles de Gaulle airport covers 32.38 square kilometers and includes three Terminals as well as Roissypôle, a complex of office buildings, shopping areas, and hotels.
