Secure your lounge space courtesy of American Express
American Express has granted UK-issued Platinum Consumer Primary Cardmembers (UK Platinum Charge Card, UK Platinum Credit Card, Platinum ICC Sterling Card) and UK issued Platinum Business Primary Cardmembers 4 lounge pre-book entitlements to use in 2025. After 2025, these Cardmembers will have access to 8 pre-book entitlements to use per calendar year between 1 January 2026 and 31 December 2027.
They can be used at any of the eligible United Kingdom lounges listed below and can be used to pre-book for yourself and for guests who are travelling with an enrolled Cardmember. Pre-book entitlements are only used to secure your space at a lounge. To gain entry to a lounge each Cardmember and any accompanying guests will be required to use either a paid lounge visit or visit entitlement.
Booking is subject to lounge, day and time availability.
To use your pre-book entitlements, log in to the Priority Pass App or your online account, and navigate to the eligible lounge you’d like to pre-book.

Frequently Asked Questions
What are the pre-book entitlements? The pre-book entitlements are being provided to Platinum Consumer and Platinum Business Cardmembers, courtesy of American Express. These entitlements allow Cardmembers to pre-book at eligible UK Priority Pass lounges for themselves and their guests. Cardmembers are able to pre-book at other locations outside of the UK at their own expense.
How many pre-book entitlements do I have?
American Express has granted UK-issued Platinum Consumer Primary Cardmembers (UK Platinum Charge Card, UK Platinum Credit Card, Platinum ICC Sterling Card) and UK- issued Platinum Business Primary Cardmembers 4 lounge pre-book entitlements to use in 2025. After 2025, these Cardmembers will have access to 8 pre-book entitlements to use per calendar year between 1 January 2026 and 31 December 2027.
If all pre-book entitlements are used, you can still pre-book lounges at your own expense.
How do I use my pre-book entitlements?
To use your pre-book entitlements, you need to log in to the Priority Pass app or online account. Navigate to an eligible lounge and click 'Pre-book'. Once you've entered your flight information, you’ll have the option to apply any available pre-book entitlements. If you choose not to use your entitlements, you will need to pay the remaining amount. Please note, the Cardmember must be present with their Priority Pass Membership Card, boarding pass and photo ID at the lounge entrance.
How long are my pre-book entitlements valid for and do they refresh?
Your pre-book entitlements are valid for a calendar year and refresh annually on 1st January. Any unused entitlements do not roll over.
How far in advance can I pre-book?
Pre-book slots usually open around 3 months before your planned visit. However, availability can vary, and some lounges may open booking even earlier. We recommend booking as early as possible to secure your spot.
I’m trying to pre-book for a flight in a few days, but there is no availability. What can I do?
During the busy holiday season, UK lounges fill up much faster than usual and Pre-book spaces can sell out weeks in advance. To secure your spot, we recommend booking 1–3 months before you travel.
If you can’t find availability:
• Consider alternative lounges at your departure airport.
• On the day of travel, you may still be able to enter via walk-up access, but this is subject to capacity and not guaranteed.
Why can I see or use my pre-book entitlements at some UK lounges offering Pre-book, but not others?
Pre-book entitlements are only available at select UK lounges. The list of participating lounges can be referenced above. Pre-book entitlements are not available at Clubrooms and Lomond Lounge, but you may still pre-book access to these lounges by paying a separate fee.
I’ve used my entitlements to Pre-book lounge access for myself and 2–3 guests. Does this mean I won’t need to pay for my guests’ visits?
No, your Pre-book entitlements are separate from your lounge visit entitlements. Your standard guest policy still applies.
• As an American Express Cardmember, you can bring one complimentary guest per lounge visit.
• Any additional guests (two or more) will each incur a £24 fee, which will be charged to you as the Cardmember when your lounge visit is processed.
What do I do if I don't have an online account?
If you don’t have an online account with Priority Pass, you will need to create one to access your complimentary pre-book entitlements.
There are two ways to create an online account:
- Website:
To activate your account, visit prioritypass.com/activate-your-account and have your membership number ready. You will be guided through a few quick steps to complete the setup.
- Priority Pass App:
You can also activate your account using the Priority Pass App.

Where can I find how many pre-book entitlements I have left?
You can view your remaining pre-book entitlements during the lounge pre-book process, when you are logged in. You will not be able to view how many pre-book entitlements you have in your online account.
See below to check your remaining pre-book entitlements when pre-booking through the Priority Pass app:
Why can’t I see my pre-book entitlements in the Priority Pass app?
Please ensure you're logged into your Priority Pass digital account using the correct username and password. Then, navigate to a participating UK lounge and select Pre-book. Your available entitlements should appear there.
What happens if I need to cancel my booking? will I be refunded any pre-book entitlements used to book my lounge?
You can cancel your booking and receive a refund if you do so within the cancellation period specified by the lounge, using the link in your booking confirmation email. If you cancel after the specified period, you will lose your pre-book entitlements, and any payments made will not be refunded. This is for yourself and any guests.
If you cancel within the lounge cancellation window (as outlined in your booking confirmation email), any entitlements used or payments made will be refunded as long as the entitlements have not yet expired.
Can I transfer my pre-book entitlements to someone else?
No, your pre-book entitlements are non-transferable and can only be used by the eligible Platinum Consumer and Platinum Business Cardmember and accompanying guests.
Is it possible to amend a booking made with my pre-book entitlements?
Some lounges allow amendments via your booking confirmation email, including date, arrival time, and number of guests. For lounges that do not allow amendments, you will need to cancel your booking within the specific lounge’s cancellation window, and rebook with the required updates.
It is not possible to amend the flight number once the booking is confirmed. If you need to change your flight number, please cancel the original booking and create a new one. Please refer to the booking confirmation email for cancellation rules.
I want to book a lounge outside of the pre-book entitlement validity period, can I still use my pre-book entitlement?
Pre-booking entitlements are deducted based on the date you make the booking, not the date of your lounge visit.
For example, if your pre-book entitlements are valid between 1st January and 31
How many guests can I pre-book for?
You can pre-book for up to 5 people, excluding infants (age definitions may vary by lounge). Please check the individual lounge listing for specific guest and age limits.
What happens if I do not show up for my booking?
If you miss your booking or arrive outside the specified window, any pre-book entitlements used or payments made to make the booking will not be refunded.
What proof of pre-booking do I need when arriving at the lounge?
When arriving at the lounge, please bring your booking reference (email or pdf) as well as your flight boarding pass, Priority Pass Membership Card and photo ID.
