American Express has granted UK issued Consumer Centurion® and Platinum Primary and Supplementary Cardmembers 4 complimentary lounge pre-book entitlements. These pre-book entitlements are available for each enrolled Primary and Supplementary Cardmember. These can be used at any of the eligible United Kingdom lounges listed below and can be used to pre-book for yourself and for guests who are travelling with an enrolled member.

These complimentary pre-book entitlements must be booked, and travel completed between 9th July and 31st December 2024. Booking is subject to availability for the lounge, day and time.

What do I do if I don't have an online account?


If you don't have an online account with Priority Pass, you will need to activate this to be able to use your complimentary pre-book vouchers. To do this, head to prioritypass.com/activate-your-account with your membership number on hand. You will be asked a series of questions to activate your online account.

What are the complimentary pre-book entitlements?

The pre-book entitlements are being provided to Consumer Centurion and Platinum Cardmembers in the United Kingdom, courtesy of American Express. These entitlements allow Cardmembers to pre-book at eligible United Kingdom Priority Pass lounges. When pre-booking at an eligible lounge, Cardmembers will be able to use these pre-book entitlements to book for themselves and their guests.

How many pre-book entitlements do I have?

American Express Centurion and Platinum Primary and Supplementary Cardmembers based in the United Kingdom have been allocated 4 complimentary pre-book entitlements. To use these entitlements, Cardmembers need to pre-book and use their entitlements at eligible lounges between 9th July and 31st December 2024.

Where can I find how many pre-book entitlements that I have left?

You can locate the number of remaining pre-book entitlements you have on the booking summary screen when you are pre-booking an eligible lounge within the Priority Pass app. You need to be logged in, provide your flight information and booking details to access this screen. You can also view your remaining pre-book allocations in the confirmation email you receive after pre-booking a lounge.

You will not be able to view how many pre-book entitlements you have in your online account or by contacting our membership services team.

How do I use my complimentary pre-book entitlements?

To use your pre-book entitlements Cardmembers need to log in to the Priority Pass app or online account. Navigate to an eligible lounge and click 'pre-book'. Once you've added your flight information, the booking summary screen will give you the option to use any available pre-book entitlements you have. If you choose not to use any or all your entitlements for your booking, you will need to pay the remaining amount. The Cardmember with their Priority Pass membership card will need to be present at the point of lounge entry to access the lounge.

Are the pre-book entitlements only available for a limited time?

These complimentary pre-book entitlements, courtesy of American Express, are only valid to be pre-booked and used at eligible lounges between 9th July and 31st December 2024.

Am I able to get a refund if I used a pre-book entitlement to pre-book my lounge?

If you need to cancel a booking where you used any pre-book entitlements to pay, at least 48 hours before the arrival time specified in your booking confirmation, you will receive these entitlements back to your available balance. Bookings outside of this 48 hour window are not able to be cancelled so you won't be able to receive your pre-book entitlement back.

Is it possible to exchange pre-book entitlements for cash?

It is not possible to exchange pre-book entitlements for cash. Pre-book entitlements are non-transferable and can only be used for their intended purpose within the specified validity period.

Can I transfer my complimentary pre-book entitlements to someone else?

No, your pre-book entitlements are non-transferable and can only be used by the eligible Centurion or Platinum Cardmember who needs to be present at the point of accessing the lounge.

Is it possible to amend a booking made with my pre-book entitlements?

No, you are not able to amend a booking if you used pre-book entitlements to pay for the booking. If you need to make amendments to your booking, you will be required to cancel and re-book.

Please ensure you thoroughly check the details of your booking to avoid issues. Remember, you are unable to cancel your booking within 48 hours of the scheduled arrival time chosen in your booking.

What if I want to cancel my booking?

You can cancel for a refund up to 48 hours before scheduled arrival time which can be done from your booking confirmation email. If you cancel your booking within 48 hours, you will not be refunded your pre-book entitlements, or any payments made.

What if I need to change date/time of my booking?

Please cancel your current booking and then re-book for a new date/time. If you have used pre-book entitlements for your original booking and are within the offer period, your pre-book entitlements will be refreshed. Dates and times are subject to availability.

What if I need to add more guests to my original booking?

Please create a new booking. You will be required to pay the pre-booking charge for each additional guests in the event you don’t have any pre-book entitlements remaining. The eligible Cardmember will need to be present at the point of lounge entry for access into the lounge.

What if I need to amend my flight number?

After booking is confirmed, it is not possible to amend the flight number. If you still wish to amend your flight number, please cancel your original booking and create a new one.

I want to book a lounge outside of the prebook entitlement offer dates, can I still use my pre-book entitlement?

Cardmembers are unable to use pre-book entitlements outside of the offer dates. However, you can still take advantage of pre-booking a lounge for a nominal fee.

How far in advance can I book?

Subject to availability for lounge, day, and time, Cardmembers can pre-book up to 3 months in advance of travel or as late as their same day of travel. Cardmembers are encouraged to book early to secure a spot.

Why is it showing that there will be charge to pre-book when I still have entitlements left?

As you go through the pre-booking process it will show a charge of £6 through each stage until you reach the confirmation stage. Here you will be able to use your remaining entitlements and you won’t be charged.


Terms and Conditions

Only UK issued Centurion® and Platinum Consumer Primary Cardmembers and Supplementary Cardmembers are eligible. Cardmember must be enrolled in Priority Pass benefit for eligible card. Eligible Primary and Supplementary Centurion and Platinum Consumer Cardmembers are entitled to four complimentary pre-book entitlements each through the Priority Pass App or Website at participating UK lounges. See list above. Pre-booking is subject to availability for the lounge, day, and time. Cardmembers can pre-book up to 3 months in advance of travel or as late as their same day of travel. The Cardmember and any applicable guests are required to pre-book their lounge space with one pre-book entitlement per person (ex. One Cardmember and one guest would use two of four pre-book entitlements). Eligible Cardmember must book and travel with any guests and present their Priority Pass Membership Card (plastic or digital) at the point of lounge entry. The four pre-book entitlements must be booked, and travel completed between 9 July 2024 and 31 Dec 24. Any complimentary pre-book entitlements not used by 31 December 2024 will be forfeited. All complimentary pre-book entitlements must be booked through the Priority Pass App or Website utilising their eligible American Express Priority Pass Membership.
