As part of the activation process, a small pre-authorisation transaction will be carried out to confirm your eligibility for the benefit, which will be returned. Your HSBC Premier World Elite Mastercard will then be used as your payment method for any additional lounge purchases outside of your unlimited access as a cardholder.

If you haven’t already activated your membership, or pre-booked a lounge, simply present your HSBC Premier World Elite Mastercard at the lounge and mention Priority Pass to enter one of the 1,800+ airport lounges available worldwide via Priority Pass. Access to the lounge will be subject to availability and you will be asked to validate your benefit by allowing the Lounge Attendant to process a pre-authorisation transaction with your eligible credit card, which will be returned.
