New York JFK Terminal 5

JFK Terminal 5 sits behind the preserved architectural masterpiece originally known as the “TWA Flight Center”, which was designed by the Finnish-American futurist architect Eero Saarinen in 1962. Terminal 5 also has the only open-air observation deck at JFK. Harking back to the golden age of air travel, this terminal makes our ‘must visit’ list simply for its retro-elegance and timeless modernity, which is as eye-catching today as it was 60 years ago.

The dining and shopping options are very much from the 21st century though, with over 20 retailers to browse through, including the iconic New York Times bookstore and the ever-popular MUJI. With over 30 food outlets ranging from a steakhouse restaurant to a tapas bar, you will have a difficult choice to make.

If you’re looking for some more luxury, we have three different options of Priority Pass plans depending on your frequency of travel:

There are several ATMs located conveniently around the terminal, as well as currency exchange terminals.

Baggage wrapping facilities are available at terminal 5.

Are your batteries running low? JFK Terminal 5 offers device charging stations around the terminal to ensure you get recharged before your flight.

For families nursing little ones, a nursing facility is located near Gate 12.

For our parents of four-legged fur-babies, a pet relief area has been conveniently located at Terminal 5.

Cardholders existing lounge visit allocation for which the Cardholder will, where applicable, be charged. Priority Pass cardholders can use their lounge visit entitlement to take advantage of one of the following options:

● Be Back 30-minute Lounger Massage (a US$35 value) or
● Be Back 15-minute Lounger Massage plus Aromatherapy & 02 (a US$35 value) or
● Head Up on lounger 10-minute plus Aromatherapy & 02 (a US$38 value) or
● Be Feet on Lounger 10-minute plus Aromatherapy & 02 (a US$38 value).

Each treatment represents a single lounge visit within the cardholder's existing lounge visit allocation for which the cardholder will, where applicable, be charged.

3. Is there a dress code for the lounges at JFK Terminal 5?
Guests in smart casual dress are welcome to enter a Priority Pass Lounge.

4. Can I smoke in the lounge areas?
Airport regulations prevent smoking outside of designated smoking areas located conveniently across JFK Terminal 5. We invite our guests to avail these facilities.

5. How long can I stay in the lounge at JFK Terminal 5?
You can enjoy the lounge spa facilities for the duration of their treatments.

6. Do the lounges at JFK Terminal 5 make flight information announcements?
Flight information announcements are not made within the Priority Pass Lounge facilities at JFK Terminal 5.
Flight information screens are included throughout the terminal, and guests are requested to monitor their boarding times while enjoying our facilities.
