Indira Gandhi International Airport is 16km from New Delhi city center.
Taxi -taxis are available around the clock outside the terminal buildings; get a prepaid taxi at the counter and give the receipt to the driver at your destination. If you're in Delhi you can hail a ride to the airport in any of the black-and-yellow cabs that serve the city.
Bus - frequent airport express buses run between Terminal 3 and Connaught Place, New Delhi's financial and business center, as well as Kashmiri Gate Interstate Bus Terminal.
Train - the fast, convenient Delhi Airport Metro Express stops at Terminal 3, Delhi Aerocity (with a shuttle service to Terminal 1) and Connaught Place. Tickets can be purchased from the machines outside Terminal 1 and Terminal 3 Arrivals.
Car rental - several companies have offices at the airport, but driving in Delhi is difficult and many travelers advise against it. It’s common for foreign visitors to hire a private car with a driver for a relatively inexpensive fee. Hotels, tour operators and online booking portals provide this service.
