Mexico City International Airport is located only 13 km from Mexico City, the largest city and the capital of Mexico. Mexico City is in fact the oldest capital in the Americas, founded by the Aztecs and as such, it is home to a UNESCO World Heritage site.

Mexico City International Airport Terminal 1 offers you an extensive dining selection with over 80 restaurants, cafes and bars to choose from. Despite the selection you could be treated to authentic Mexican dining whilst visiting terminal 1.

Shopping is taken to the next level at Mexico City International Airport Terminal 1, with over 100 retail outlets awaiting you, ranging from travel necessities to holiday souvenirs from authentic Mexican arts and crafts stores. You may even need to buy a new suitcase for all your new treasures.

A Priority Pass membership would also allow you to gain access to a choice of luxury airport lounges at Mexico City Terminal 1.

About Our Lounges At Mexico City International Terminal 1

Offering a more intimate setting, the VIPort Lounge offers you incredible comfort in a calm and relaxed setting, thanks to the generous options including lounge seating, dining seating, a bar and group seating. Once you have found your seat you can enjoy the range of beverages, including alcoholic beverages, choose from the selection of refreshments on offer or dine from the à la carte menu, which is subject to payment. Connect with the free wi-fi or pass the time with the latest newspapers and magazines. If work is on your mind, you can use the telephone services and internet, with printers available, subject to payment. Open 24 hours a day, the lounge is fully air conditioned and is fully accessible by wheelchair. Children under the age of five years old are admitted free of charge, with a separate play area available as well.

The Grand Lounge Elite lives up to its name the moment you enter this sumptuous lounge in terminal 1. Deep, luxurious seating, rich colours and highlights of beautiful plants throughout creates an oasis within Mexico City International Terminal 1. We invite you to sit back and enjoy a shoe shine, hand and foot massage, nail (Gel) service, specialty coffee and golf car service, all of which are subject to availability. Feeling peckish? You will be treated to a mouth-watering selection of refreshments and beverages, including alcoholic beverages. The Lounge Mexico By Global Lounge Network offers a cool and fresh approach to an airport lounge experience. Coloured LED lighting is set off with the white walls with contemporary accent seating. Offering you dining, seating and lounging options means you are sure to find the perfect spot to sit back and take in the relaxing ambience of this terminal 1 lounge. You can select from the range of refreshments and beverages on offer, along with alcoholic beverages. Enjoy the free wi-fi or the latest newspapers and magazines, while you cool off in this fully air conditioned lounge in Mexico City Terminal 1. There are television and flight information screens located throughout the lounge. Open 24 hours a day this lounge is pleased to welcome children, with those under the age of 12, being admitted for free.

Lounge 19, located in Mexico City Terminal 1, offers you a more intimate setting, ideal for those seeking some quiet and tranquillity before they travel further. Sumptuous brown leather seats will envelop you while you select from the range of refreshments and beverages, including alcoholic options, on offer. Free wi-fi as well as telephone services, newspapers and magazines will provide diversion, while you enjoy this fully air conditioned lounge. A hot shower may be just what you need to prepare for your journey. Open 24 hours a day, this lounge is wheelchair accessible and is also pleased to welcome children. Those under the age of 12 will be admitted for free.

Terraza By The Grand Lounge Elite Lounge is a vibrant and engaging space to prepare you for your onward journey. You can indulge in a shoe shine, hand and foot massage, nail (Gel) service, specialty coffee, luggage storage and golf car service all of which are subject to availability. A hot shower and a selection of refreshments and beverages, including alcoholic beverages, will ensure you are fueled up for the next leg of your journey. Catch up on television viewing, or connect to the free wi-fi to stream your favourite shows. For those wishing to disconnect, newspapers and magazines are on hand to entertain you. This Mexico City Terminal 2 lounge is open daily from 3am to 11pm and children under the age of 12 years old are admitted free of charge. The lounge is also fully wheelchair accessible.

Location And Accessibility

VIPort Lounge is located airside, after Security Checks, opposite Gate 9 and to the right of Gate 1.

The Grand Lounge Elite is located airside, after Security Checks through entrance G and turn right through the Duty Free corridor. Take the escalators down to Gate H. Keep walking straight for approximately 15 metres where the lounge is located on the left.

The Lounge Mexico By Global Lounge Network can be found airside, after Security Checks pass through entrance J and the Duty Free. The lounge is located next to Gate 31. Flights departing from Terminal 1 only.

Lounge 19 is located airside on the Ground Level near Gate 19.

Terraza By The Grand Lounge Elite can be located airside of the terminal, after Security Check at entrance G, proceed through Duty Free and take the escalators down to Boarding Zone H. The lounge is located on the left hand side, near Gate 19.


There's a café at the E2 exit.

2. Who can use the lounges at Mexico City International Terminal 1?
Priority Pass cardholders and registered guests visiting Mexico City International Terminal 1 are welcome at the Mexico City International Terminal 1 lounges. Regardless of the class of ticket (economy/business/first), all domestic travellers, business or leisure, can access our Mexico City International Terminal 1 lounges through Priority Pass.

3. Is there a dress code for the lounges at Mexico City International Terminal 1?
Guests in smart casual dress are welcome to enter the Priority Pass lounges at Mexico City International Terminal 1.

4. Can I smoke in the lounge areas?
Airport regulations prevent smoking outside of designated smoking areas, which are located conveniently across Mexico City International Terminal 1. We invite our guests to avail these facilities.

5. How long can I stay in the lounges at Mexico City International Terminal 1?
You can access the Priority Pass Mexico City International Terminal 1 lounges up to three hours before departure.

6. Do the lounges at Mexico City International Terminal 1 have flight information screens?
There are flight information screens at the VIPort Lounge, The Grand Lounge Elite Mexico City International and The Lounge Mexico By Global Lounge Network lounges in terminal 1. Guests are requested to monitor their boarding times while enjoying our facilities.

7. Are the lounges at Mexico City International Terminal 1 wheelchair accessible?
All lounges at Mexico City International Terminal 1 are wheelchair accessible, with the exception of The Lounge Mexico By Global Lounge Network lounge, which unfortunately is not wheelchair accessible.

8. Do the lounges at Mexico City International Terminal 1 cater for vegetarians and vegans?
The lounges offer a wide selection of delectable food and beverages, many of which are suitable for our vegetarian and vegan clients.

9. Can children enter the lounges at Mexico City International Terminal 1?
Priority Pass is pleased to welcome children to our Mexico City International Terminal 1 lounges. Children under the age of 12 years are admitted free to The Grand Lounge Elite Mexico City International, The Lounge Mexico By Global Lounge Network, Lounge 19 and Terraza By The Grand Lounge Elite lounges.
