Manchester Airport is the UK’s third busiest airport and the largest airport outside of London.

Manchester Terminal 1 provides you with a number of conveniences to make your trip easy and memorable, including the ability to pre-book parking, time saving FastTrack express lanes at security and passport control, Click & Collect services available for shopping as well as a VIP lounge experience thanks to several Priority Pass lounge options available to you.

There is something for everyone at Manchester Terminal 1.
For shoppers, the expansive World Duty Free offers an extensive range of tax- and duty-free fragrances, cosmetics, wines and spirits. While visiting Manchester Terminal 1 you can shop from dozens of global brands such as Bobbi Brown, Hamleys, Jo Malone and many more.

Dining options at Manchester Terminal 1 range from go-to staples such as Starbucks, Pret and Greggs, to more extensive offerings provided by the family-friendly Giraffe restaurant or The Grain Loft, who delight customers with self-service beer on tap.

About Our Lounges At Manchester Terminal 1

The Aspire Lounge located in Manchester Terminal 1 is a bright and inviting lounge, thanks to the expansive windows that flood the lounge with natural light. You can avail the complimentary wi-fi access or keep an eye on the TV screens and flight information screens located conveniently around the lounge, from the comfort of your seat.

The Escape Lounge, located at Manchester Terminal 1, lives up to its name and provides you with the perfect escape to the hustle and bustle of the terminal. With ample seating and a wide array of complimentary services including wi-fi, food and beverages (including alcoholic beverages for guests over 18 years old), newspapers and magazines, the time to your departure will simply fly by. You will be able to keep an eye on your boarding times from any one of the flight information screens located throughout the lounge.
We warmly invite our guests with disabilities to enjoy the facilities at The Escape Lounge, as the facilities have been designed to provide convenient accessibility for anyone in a wheelchair.

Location And Accessibility

The Priority Pass lounges at Manchester Terminal 1 are designed to provide easy and convenient accessibility for all our guests.

Club Aspire Lounge is open daily from 4m to 8pm. Hours may be subject to seasonal changes. Peak seasonal activity may result in an increased number of guests and access may be periodically restricted to maintain the highest quality experience for all our guests.

The Club Aspire Lounge can be located once you pass through passport control, turn left and take the stairs up one floor. When you turn right, the lounge is located straight ahead.

The Escape Lounge is open daily from 4am to 5.30pm, and to 6pm on Sundays.
The lounge can be located by proceeding through the security checkpoints and the Duty-Free Area. You should follow the ‘Premium Lounges’ signs, then take either the stairs or the lift to the ‘Executive Lounge Level’, where you will find The Escape Lounge.

Priority Pass is ready to provide a warm welcome to our guests with disabilities to The Escape Lounge, with accessibility and washroom facilities available to ensure a comfortable and convenient experience.


There are a handful of snack outlets to choose from in the Arrivals hall.

4. Can I smoke in the lounge areas?
Airport regulations prevent smoking outside of designated smoking areas located conveniently across Manchester Terminal 1. We invite our guests to avail these facilities.

You can access Priority Pass Manchester Terminal 1 lounges up to three hours before departure.

Flight information announcements are not made within the Priority Pass lounge facilities at Manchester Terminal 1.
