About The Airport

Heathrow, which is to the west of London, has 4 operational terminals. This means it has a vast footprint and is also very busy - but once you've navigated the crowds, you'll find great duty-free discounts. Thanks to its great restaurants and high-tech passenger services including biometric boarding, LHR came 4th place in the Condé Nast Traveler airport awards in 2017 and 8th place in Skytrax's 2018 list of 'Best Airports of the World'. It also came in at a respectable 9th place in the Skytrax World's Best Airport Dining Experience.
