About The Airport

Santiago International Airport - also known as Nuevo Pudahuel Airport - is the largest and busiest in Chile. There's just one terminal building for both domestic and international flights. It has 4 levels - Arrivals on Level 1, offices and lounges on Level 2, Departures on Level 3 and Security on Level 4.

Wi-Fi

Free unlimited Wi-Fi is available at the airport, but users need to reconnect every 30 minutes.

Getting to and from the airport

The airport is 15km from downtown Santiago.

Taxi - you can book a fixed-rate taxi at counters after the Baggage Claim area. Official taxi drivers wear reflective vests and will be able so show you ID. They have metered taxis.

Bus - the Turbus Aeropuerto service connects the airport with various Santiago de Chile metro stations from 06:00 to 20:00 every day of the week. Alternatively, the Centropuerto airport bus serves the city on 2 different routes.

Hotel shuttle - free airport shuttles are available for guests at several nearby hotels including the Hilton Garden Inn and the Hotel Diego de Almagro Aeropuerto.

Car rental - car rental desks are in International Arrivals.

Parking

There are 3 parking lots - express parking, 2 minutes' walk from the terminal; roofed parking, 70-100 meters from the terminal; and economy parking, 120-400 meters from the terminal. The first 10 minutes of parking are free and it's also possible to check the availability of parking spaces at in real-time on their official website.

Transit and in-airport hotels

If changing to a domestic flight, you'll have to collect your baggage and pass Immigration before going to the domestic part of the terminal.

The Holiday Inn Santiago - Airport Terminal is directly in front of the building, just a few steps outside Baggage Claim. Access is via an internal walkway.

Healthy Travel Tip

The airport offers free yoga classes twice a week - on Tuesday and Thursday evenings - at Gate 15. Yoga mats are provided and there's an amazing view of the planes. Why not try it out, to start your journey feeling relaxed and revitalised?
