About The Airport

One of the world's busiest airports, the award-winning Hong Kong International has an impressive array of stores and restaurants. It has 2 terminals bursting with things to do, including an IMAX theatre and pop-up exhibitions. There's also SkyPier - a ferry terminal which serves destinations in the Guangdong province. In 2017, HKG was voted the 2nd best airport in the world (Condé Nast Traveller) and came 4th in Skytrax Traveller polls of the world's best airports in 2018. Not surprisingly, it also topped out the awards for World's Best Airport Dining Experience in 2018

Transit and in-airport hotels

You can get from Terminal 2 to Terminal 1, and between Terminal 1 and SkyPier on the Automated People Mover electric train, which leaves every 2-4 minutes. The 2 terminals are only a short distance from each other, so getting between them is easy. Traffic flow in this airport is highly rated, and HKG aims to keep the travel experience as streamlined as possible.

The Regal Airport Hotel is connected to Terminal 1 by a bridge.
