Meet the 2026 Priority Pass Excellence Awards Global Lounge of the Year

The best airport lounges are more than just a place to wait. They're part of the journey, giving travellers a chance to relax and recharge before jetting off.

The 2026 Priority Pass Excellence Awards celebrate the lounges that set the standard for exceptional travel experiences. Now in their 18th year, the awards recognise the lounges that Priority Pass Members rate among the world's best. This year's winners were chosen from more than 702,000 member ratings and reviews, reflecting what today's travellers value most.

What makes a Global Lounge of the Year?

The Global Lounge of the Year is the highest honour in the Priority Pass Excellence Awards. It recognises the lounge that consistently delivers an exceptional experience, turning time in the airport into a memorable part of the journey. From outstanding service and thoughtful amenities to comfort and ambient design, these are the spaces travellers remember long after take-off.

This year, Escape Lounge at Portland OR International Airport claimed the top honour after earning outstanding feedback from our members.

More than a place to sit and wait

This lounge offers much more than comfortable seating and air conditioning. Guests can enjoy chef-made dishes inspired by Portland's renowned food scene, alongside a selection of local flavours and refreshments.

For those looking to work or unwind before a flight, dedicated workspaces, business services and shower facilities provide the perfect balance of productivity and relaxation ahead of their flight.

Whether you’re catching up on emails, enjoying a meal or making the most of the premium amenities, this lounge offers a curated experience designed to make your time in the airport feel less like a long wait and more like an essential last stop in Portland.

Turning travellers into regulars

Across more than 702,000 member ratings and reviews, travellers consistently highlighted the welcoming service, attention to detail and the feeling that every part of the experience had been carefully designed with their needs in mind.
