Terminal Information

São Paulo Guarulhos International

The São Paulo Guarulhos International Airport is the busiest airport in Brazil and second busiest airport in Latin America by passenger traffic. It is popularly known locally as either Cumbica Airport, after the district where it is located and the Brazilian Air Force base that exists at the airport complex, or Guarulhos Airport, after the municipality of Guarulhos, where it is situated.

Terminal 1 does not have a wide variety of eateries or shops but you can purchase snacks or a light meal at one of the outlets which include a bar, sushi station, sandwich and fast food outlet, a nut kiosk and a coffee counter and bakery. Shopping is very limited with only a sunglasses and accessories hut after you have passed through security, and a pharmacy in the public area.
