Getting to and from the airport
The airport is just 8km from Copenhagen city center, and 24km from Malmö city center in Sweden.
Taxi - the taxi rank is outside the Terminal 3 Arrivals area. Passengers needing a taxi to Sweden must go to the dedicated Swedish taxis rank.
Bus - bus services run between the airport and Copenhagen. Connections to Århus in Denmark, the Malmö Centrum area in Sweden, and other locations are also available.
Metro - Lufthavnen Metro station is at the end of Terminal 3. The Metro runs every 4–6 minutes during the day, and every 15–20 minutes at night. There's no Metro service to Sweden. If you sit in the front, you'll get a great view of the tracks ahead from the large window.
Train - there's a railway station in Terminal 3, with trains leaving for central Copenhagen every 10 minutes. Trains to Malmö leave every 20 minutes.
Hotel shuttle - a free airport shuttle operates to and from the Quality Hotel Airport Dan in Denmark in the mornings and evenings.
Car rental - there are 6 car rental agencies at Terminal 3.
Transit and in-airport hotels
The two terminals are in the same building and it's easy to walk between check-in areas. Shuttle buses connect the terminals with the parking lots and the railway station; they leave every 10-20 minutes depending on the time of day.
The Clarion Hotel Copenhagen Airport is connected to Terminal 3 by a covered walkway. The hotel has a gym, spa, heated saltwater pool and 29 meeting rooms.
Click & Collect is available at the airport.
Go to www.cph.dk/en/shop to pre-order your duty free (at least 9 hours before departure). If you are travelling within the EU, you can choose whether to pick up your items when departing from, or on arrival in Copenhagen.
Copenhagen Airport won an Airport Food & Beverage Offer of the Year award in 2016.
