Tokyo Narita International

Tokyo Narita International is Japan’s main international airport and has received awards for World’s Best Airport and Best Airport Dining Experience. The airport services most international carriers and is well known for its Japanese efficiency - with services like baggage carousels turning around in double time.

Dining outlets at the airport are found on the fourth and fifth floors, with the fifth floor having runway views. Eateries can be found both before and after passport control. You can enjoy true Japanese fare with dishes like soba and sushi at a selection of 15 Japanese eateries, as well as Chinese fare and traditional Western meals at the other restaurants and cafes.

The shopping on offer will not disappoint with more than 60 stores before passport control and another 30 stores plus duty-free outlets after passport control. From luxury items from Hermes to shoes, fashion accessories and souvenirs. You will need to plan for extra time in your schedule to take it all in!

A Priority Pass membership would also allow you to gain access to a choice of luxury airport lounges at Tokyo Narita Terminal 1.

About Our Lounge At Tokyo Narita Terminal 1

There are two ANA Lounges at Narita Terminal 1.

The ANA Lounge at Gate 52 is a popular spot with floor-to-ceiling views overlooking the tarmac. Whether you choose from the buffet or order from a menu, are in the mood for a pastry or a hot traditional meal, this lounge has got you covered when it comes to meal options. After you have enjoyed a drink and a meal, you can make use of the shower facilities, connect to the wi-fi or just enjoy people and plane watching while you wait for your flight. A separate smoking room is available. Access to this lounge may be restricted due to space constraints. Children under the age of two are admitted free. The lounge opens at 7am and closes when the last flight of the day departs.

The Lounge at Gate 25 is a convenient spot for guests departing from gates near 21 to 25 and provides extra capacity when the lounge at Gate 52 is full. The lounge is tastefully decorated and offers a noodle bar, a sake bar, and some semi-private areas for those wanting some extra peace and quiet. This lounge is open from 1pm to 6:55pm daily.

The KAL Business Class Lounge enjoys views of the tarmac and is a popular spot for travellers wanting to enjoy lounge facilities while waiting for their journey to start. The modern and brightly lit venue has various seating options and a wide selection of refreshments for you to choose from. Whether you enjoy a glass of sake while connecting to the wifi or a traditional meal and a quiet moment of reflection, this lounge is a convenient and comfortable venue.It is open from 7:30am to 7:30pm daily. Children under two years are admitted free and all children must be accompanied by an adult.

The IASS Executive Lounge is a smaller lounge offering a place to enjoy a complimentary beverage while reading magazines as well as compact work tables for those needing to check emails, browse the internet or get some work done. The lounge is open from 7am to 9pm daily. Children under 12 years are admitted free and complimentary alcoholic drinks are limited to one per adult.

Location And Accessibility

The ANA Lounge is found airside in Satellite 5 in International Departures. Once you have passed through passport control, go to the fourth floor and you will find the lounge near Gate 52.

The KAL Business Class Lounge is found airside in Satellite 2. After going through passport control, go to the third floor and you will find the lounge near Gate 26.

The smaller ANA Lounge is found airside in Satellite 2 in International Departures. Go to the second floor and you will find the lounge near Gate 25.

The IASS Executive Lounge is found landside and is for domestic passengers only. Once on the Departures floor (third floor) take the escalator next to the ‘G’ check-in counter to the fourth floor and turn left. The lounge is at the end of the hall.


Refreshments can be picked up at the café before leaving the airport.

Duty-free shopping is available on arrival for international travelers only and is located before Customs. In the Arrivals Hall you'll find several minimarts and convenience stores where you can pick up everyday essentials. Local SIM cards are sold at around 5 outlets, or you can shop in true Japanese style and use the vending machine.

2. Who can use the lounges at Narita Airport Terminal 1?
Priority Pass cardholders and registered guests visiting Narita Terminal 1 are welcome at the Narita Terminal 1 lounges. Regardless of the class of ticket (economy/business/first), all domestic travellers, business or leisure, can access our Narita Terminal 1 lounges through Priority Pass.

3. Is there a dress code for the lounges at Narita Airport Terminal 1?
Guests in smart casual dress are welcome to enter the Priority Pass lounges at Narita Terminal 1.

4. Can I smoke in the lounge area?
Airport regulations prevent smoking outside of designated smoking areas located conveniently across Narita Terminal 1. We invite our guests to avail these facilities.

5. How long can I stay in the lounges at Narita Terminal 1?
You can access Priority Pass Narita Terminal 1 lounges up to three hours before departure.

6. Do the lounges at Narita Terminal 1 have flight information screens?
There are flight information screens at the Narita Terminal 1 lounges. Guests are requested to monitor their boarding times while enjoying our facilities.
