Terminal Information

You'll find 12 dining outlets spread out across the public and transit areas, which include several pub-restaurants, a fast-food burger outlet and a bistro-café. However, the majority of the eateries here are coffee shops so those with dietary restrictions may want to come prepared with snacks in case there aren't any satisfactory options.

Duty-free shopping is available in 8 separate shops across the terminal, along with over 20 other stores where you can purchase fashion items, books, travel accessories and specialty Czech products such as glassware and wooden toys. Hugo Boss, Michael Kors and Swarovski also have outlets here. If you're looking to purchase a lavish gift for a loved one, consider a piece of jewelry embellished with garnets, the official stone of the Czech Republic. This stone has been mined in the country for several centuries. Those with a sweet tooth may want to visit the luxury chocolatier, Prague Chocolate.

There's a café in Arrivals where you can have a drink or a snack before making your way out of the airport.

Perfumes, cosmetics, liquor and travel accessories are available for purchase at the duty-free store. You'll also find a supermarket in the public area of the airport, between Terminals 1 and 2.

Terminal tips

The airport regularly hosts various events and exhibitions.

While these are constantly changing, some previous displays have included photos of important Czech scientists and successful entries from the Czech Press Photo competition.

Parents travelling with babies and other young children will be pleased to know that there is a dedicated room in this terminal furnished with changing tables, cots, a microwave and a play area.

Look out for the airport's battery-powered concierge, who roams the terminal until he needs a recharge at night. Pepper the Robot's primary directive is to assist passengers with directions and entertain you with his conversation.
