Madrid Adolfo Suarez-Barajas Airport

The Madrid Adolfo Suarez-Barajas Airport is the second-largest airport in Europe and is the main international airport serving Madrid.

When it comes to shopping and dining in Terminal 2, there are some great eateries available including a tapas bar, fast food outlets, cafés and a modern informal grill restaurant. As well as a duty-free store, there are a few other shops including Lafiore and Aldeasa. You can find a pharmacy here too.

A Priority Pass membership would also allow you to gain airport lounge access at Madrid Terminal 2.

About Our Lounge At Madrid Adolfo Suarez-Barajas Airport Terminal 2

The Puerta De Alcala Lounge is a contemporary and comfortable space you can retreat to for some delicious food, quiet and calm. With a selection of refreshments and beverages to suit all tastes, great facilities including internet, television, wifi, air conditioning and showers - you will not be disappointed. Puerta De Alcala is open all day, every day and can be accessed by guests three hours prior to their flight departure. The lounge has a separate children’s play room available for younger travellers. All cardholders and guests are required to present a valid boarding pass for same day travel. Children five years and under are admitted free while children under 18 years old must be accompanied by an adult.

Location And Accessibility

The Madrid Terminal 2 lounge is found airside on the second floor, near Boarding Gate D62. It is available for use by guests on domestic departures from Terminal 2 and Terminal 3, Zones C and D only or for those departing on Schengen flights only.


You can grab a drink or a bite to eat at the café before continuing your journey.

Priority Pass cardholders and registered guests visiting Madrid Airport Terminal 2 who are leaving on a domestic flight from Terminal 2 and Terminal 3, Zones C and D, or those who are departing on Schengen flights are welcome at the Terminal 2 lounge regardless of the class of ticket (economy/business/first).

Guests in smart casual dress are welcome to enter the Priority Pass lounge at Madrid Airport Terminal 2.

4. Can I smoke in the lounge areas?
Airport regulations prevent smoking outside of designated smoking areas located conveniently across Madrid Airport Terminal 2. We invite our guests to avail these facilities.

5. How long can I stay in the lounge at Madrid Airport Terminal 2?
You can access the Priority Pass Madrid Airport Terminal 2 lounge up to three hours before departure.
